SOLVER Scanning Probe Microscope

Solver-P47EC with closed EC Cell
for AFM(Contact mode, LFM)/STM

The description of parameters of the cell:

Solver closed EC Cell for AFM(Contact mode, LFM)/STM.

Volume:

The cell is made out of Teflon, it has a volume of 1,5-2ml and is hermetically encapsulated with the use of Teflon film (membrane). The cell has input and output Teflon tubes for its filling by the electrolyte solution. The hermiticity of the cell's design enables one to carry out cell's flushing and solution changing easily during the process of measurements. The cantilever is fixed to the titanic holder, which in it's turn is fixed to glass window. In case of STM measurements the STM holder should be installed instead of AFM one and STM tip is installed instead of cantilever.

Electrodes are easily being installed into the cell. Platinum electrode is used as counter electrode and AgCl electrode is used as a reference electrode. The metallized substrate with diameter 16-20mm and thickness 0.5-2.5mm is a working electrode.

The depth of the cell (from window to the cantilever) is 13mm.

Bipotentiostat/galvanostat:

Bipotentiostat/galvanostat for carrying out and control of chemical reactions is offered, which is being controlled from standard Solver SPM control software menu.
