Mechanical module of Solver-P7UHV
Vibration isolation is provided by three springs that suspend the microscope module that is connected with the carrying flange by a bellows connection. Oscillations are damped by CoSm magnetic eddy current damping.
The sample-to-probe approach is achieved by a vacuum compatible stepper motor with a planetary reduction gear. Use of this reduction gear eliminates jamming during process of ultra-high vacuum.

Two vacuum chambers design:
- High Vacuum chamber:
- Windows for samples observing;
- Manipulators allow to load and move samples, renewal of cantilevers and STM tips wihout depressurization;
- Additional flanges;
- Ultra-high vacuum (UHV) greater than 10-10 torr is achieved by utilization of cryo-adsorption, ion, and sublimation titanium pumps.
- Low vacuum chamber:
- Low-vacuum chamber with removable optical position system of cantilever position registration.
